TO MY MASTER
There are really special men even when they don’t impose themselves upon us; they stay in our lives never to abandon us.
They forgive our trespasses, understand our mistakes and weaknesses, they teaches with rigor and generosity sharing with care their knowledge and experiences.
They instill part of themselves in our hearts, changing our personalities in such away that we will never be the same again.
Master Nakayama was one of those men…. My great Master, such an honour was granted to me.
His life and wellbeing in the art of Karate serve as inspiration and model for all those who practice the art of Karate.
In spite of not being amongst us any more, his teachings will always be present in the Hoitsugan of Portugal, exactly as they were received in the Hoitsugan of Japan.
